2019 Summer Expo Showcases: Each summer, the TRIO Upward Bound programs host Summer Academy– an intense residential program that provides academic, social, and cultural exposure to program participants.

The Upward Bound program is funded by the U. S. Department of Education, under Title IV of the Higher Education Act known as a TRIO, program to serve 105 students. The program is administered under the Vice Provost for University Life’s Office of Equity and Access Programs.

The Upward Bound Program encourages these students to continue their education and provides them with the skills and resources needed to succeed in high school and college. Throughout its 43 year history at UND, Upward Bound has served approximately 3,300 students.
