Oklahoma State Department of Health, which is responsible for establishing regulations for the implementation of State Question 788, released a draft of proposed rules on July 8, 2018. [4] On July 9, 2018, Dr. Jean Hausheer, president of the Oklahoma State Medical Association, criticized the state’s draft of proposed rules to govern the new medical marijuana industry.
